The Global Payroll Analyst will provide high quality customer service to our Expatriates and Local Country Nationals.  He/she will also provide quality/compliance assurance to the payroll department through audit, reconciliations and testing; utilizing an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities:

-Provide exemplary customer service to our International employees by being the primary point of contact to analyze and explain all components related to international compensation and taxation

-Ensure all documentation is properly authorized and supported according to company policies, procedures, regulatory practices and legal requirements for all international employees

-Perform reconciliations and detailed audits to ensure accurate processing of compensation

-Resolve day-to-day operational problems of varied scope and complexity

-Work with Inpatriate/Expatriate and/or tax preparer to answer questions on earnings, remittance of foreign taxes, tax equalization, hypothetical taxes, and settlement payments, and manage the completion of year end compensation summary and verification of all W-2s

-Maintain International processes and procedures including payroll entries, gross-ups, reconciling W-2s, W-2cs, tax payments, working with outside consulting firm and international employees

-Ensure all costs related to international ventures are appropriately reflected in the general ledger and job cost system.

-Process all compensation for expatriates, and shadow payrolls for local and third country nationals

-Ensure all payments are executed using the appropriate exchange rates

-Maintain international payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures

-Perform payroll support and backup tasks.

-Prepare payroll and tax reports to Federal, State and local agencies when required.  Functioning as a backup for payroll tax accountant.

-Recording, balancing and reconciling payroll expenses in a complex accounting system with Company financial statements.

-Research and resolve accounting inquiries and determines accounting treatment of complex transactions; including auditing payroll procedures.

-Creates reports, analyze and maintain payroll key performance metrics (KPIs) and dashboards.for

-Assists with budget/forecasting process with regards to payroll and benefits.

 Qualifications:

-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the area of international payroll, accounting, or related field

-Proficiency with Expatriate and Third Country National Payroll is a must

-Knowledge of payroll principles and procedures

-Intermediate level in Excel; computer literate in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

-JD Edwards experience is preferred
