The Business Analyst/Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity. The position serves as both a Business Analyst and Project Manager with the mission of improving operational efficiency for the organization as it relates to the Business use of technology, tools and business processes. The Business Analyst designs and documents work flow, manages and provides solutions to stakeholders. The Business Analyst understands the customer’s business requirements and business process management, and then translates this to a process or technology tool requirement. This position works with a variety of different skill levels and stakeholders across the organization.


-Work as liaison between Field Employees, Department Management, Development Team and/or Upper Management to elicit requirements and resolve business problems.

-Collect & analyze the specific project business requirements and transfer knowledge to development team

-Evaluate data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys & workshops

-Provide suggestions to development team during the development stage of product to ensure the client’s business needs are met

-Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.

-Produce project related deliverables and assist in post implementation support and system enhancements.

-Document the results of analysis & workflows and obtain sign-off from the key stakeholder

-Design and execute the test scripts and test scenarios

-Support design of Standard Operating Procedures for new processes

-Coordinate with stakeholder who should test, validate and evaluate new applications/functions and determine issues in new process in order to drive to completion

-Manage any change requests related to project plans, coordinate all parties to address changes to meet the agreed deadlines

-Assist Operational Support Manager and Team in process improvement activities that will positively impact Executing with Excellence and Area Engineer goals

-Assist with potential acquisitions, create cutover plans and training and initial support efforts

-Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) protocol

-Oversee use and functionality of HCSS Heavy Job, including setup and scheduling new site roll outs.

-Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values

-And other duties as assigned

-Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related

-Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills

-Construction experience a plus

-4 years of experience with JDEdwards or comparable ERP System

-Ability to analyze and document complex business processes, strong project planning experience.

-Ability to matrix manage and strong project work and project planning experience.
